East Meets West

We were called back to re-design a few private rooms of this grand pre-war corner apartment. This time the client asked us to take a more eclectic, adventurous approach, so we pushed the boundaries towards a collage of styles including Neo-classic, Asian, Biedermeier, British Colonial, and Art Deco. East meets west, formal and informal, beautifully integrated. In the dressing room/home office we updated the cabinetry and redecorated with all new furniture, carpet, window and wall treatments. The older child’s room turned into a tropical themed guest room and the younger child’s room got its inspiration from her love of animals – especially elephants.
