Traditional and Upscale Suburban ‘Luxe’
Although David Kaplan Interior Design LLC emphasizes more transitional and contemporary design, we do not limit our scope and can respond to every client’s style preference. For this family home in Westchester there was a desire for a more traditional and upscale suburban ‘luxe’ approach. We accomplished the goal using warmer colors, plush and patterned area rugs and fabrics, custom cabinetry and finishes, draperies and roman shades along with traditional furniture, ceiling light fixtures and table lamps. The kitchen was expanded and updated to include a larger center island, updated larger appliances, a dedicated separate butler’s pantry, home office area, and more conveniently located laundry room.
